It brûken fan bakstiennen hat in lange skiednis. In protte gemeentlike diken binne oer it generaal ferhurde mei bakstiennen. De wichtichste reden is lege kosten, goede konstruksje en sterke duorsumens.
D'r binne in protte soarten bakstiennen, faak brûkte 200 * 100 * 50mm paving bakstiennen, and laying way for herringbone paving and staggered paving.

Commonly used bricks in the landscape are cement bricks, permeable bricks and sintering bricks. Others have black brick, Great Wall brick and so on.
Black bricks are mainly used in Chinese style and new Chinese style projects, and the Great Wall bricks are more used in the cultural ancient town.

For the commonly used cement bricks, permeable bricks and sintering bricks, many designers are not very clear, so now REIT will explain the differences between these three kinds of bricks.

Cement Bricks (Concrete Bricks)
Cement bricks are also called concrete bricks, so their structure is actually a concrete structure, and a certain amount of loose granular clay is added to facilitate cement mixing. It also has a certain degree of water permeability.
The surface of cement bricks are similar to permeable bricks, but their water permeability is slightly worse.
The white concrete bricks are a bit yellowish, and it is difficult to find whiter cement bricks.
Other colors are also very rich, but the most commonly used is black, white and gray. It is used more in the garden of the park.

Permeable bricks

A green environmentally friendly new building material, also known as seepage bricks, Dutch bricks, ensfh.
It adopts high-pressure forming of environmentally friendly materials such as cement, sân, slagge, and fly ash, and is formed by one-time compression without high-temperature firing.
Due to the construction and development status of the sponge city, the market of permeable bricks is still very large, and it can be said that the usage is also the largest.
Permeable bricks are not delaminated, wear-resistant, shedding-resistant, extrusion-resistant, crack-resistant, and the surface texture is uniform grain sense larger anti-slip permeation.
The later maintenance cost is low, so permeable bricks are the first choice for municipal sidewalks. Permeable bricks are mostly used in black and gray color.

Sintering Bricks

Sintered bricks are made of clay, gangue shale or fly ash as raw materials, which are formed and fired at high temperature.
Sintered bricks are divided into solid bricks and hollow bricks. The hollow blocks are mainly used for brick walls, foundation masonry, ensfh. Solid sintered bricks are mostly used for road’s pavement.

The quality of sintered bricks are relatively good, and the whole body is the same color with smooth surface texture and bright colors. Impermeable and strong pressure resistance. It is also rich in color, with a high use of red and yellow sintered bricks in brownstone style projects.

How to distinguish between fired bricks, permeable bricks and cement bricks?

Side surface: Sintered bricks have a higher density and no voids. Permeable bricks have the smallest density and the largest voids. Cement bricks can be seen to have slight voids.

Surface texture: The surface texture of sintered bricks is smooth and slightly grainy; the permeable bricks have a large grainy and obvious void structure, and there are small voids on the surface of cement bricks.

Water permeability: permeable brick>cement brick>fired brick (none)

Cost: sintered brick>cement brick>permeable brick
